MFL is learning the language and culture of another country

At Mendell Primary School we buy in expert specialist language teachers from Passport Language Solutions. This provides vital CPD for our staff which:

• Helps upskill staff, ensuring both them and the children benefit from a specialist language teacher and the school receives the long term benefits of their investment.

• Teaching MFL through our team-teaching format is a great way to ensure that MFL is being delivered to the highest standard, whilst up-skilling our staff and giving them a vital opportunity for CPD.

In the Summer Term the Y6 class use the vocabulary and skills they have learnt to plan, practice and then present a Spanish song / story as part of their Yr6 final assembly.
